I lectured at the symposium of the 125th anniversary of Tokyo University of Agriculture
Mai HIEDA, the responsible of HALAL RECIPES JAPAN, lectured at the symposium “What should be considered against Islam of meal “halal food””.
It was the memorial symposium of the 125th anniversary of Tokyo University of Agriculture.
My theme was “HALAL Washoku (Japanese traditional cuisine) and barrier-free of food”.
I have looked back on the two years from knowing Halal to now, and have talked about a number of mistakes and what I learned through exchanges with the mosque teachers and Muslims.
Also, for the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020, we proposed the barrier free of food with Halal Japanese food as the center.
Through the activities of Halal Recipe Japan, I would like to continue to convey the importance of cross-cultural understanding to all of you.
Thank you very much for everyone involved in this symposium and everyone who attended the symposium.
